Joshua M. Feagans

Josh is a Founder and Managing Partner of Feagans Law Group. 

Josh leads the firm’s trial team and litigation practice group concentrating in complex and catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases resulting from car accidents, trucking accidents, slip and falls, workplace accidents, construction accidents, defective products, medical malpractice, nursing home neglect and more.  Josh has achieved tremendous results for his clients, but prides himself on building relationships with his clients, rewarding the trust they place in him and solving the “every day” problems that better his client’s lives.   

As a trial attorney, Josh has litigated thousands of cases throughout the United States in federal and state courts, in arbitrations and mediations with AAA, ADR, JAMS and BBB and in administrative hearings before a variety of agencies, including the EEOC, NLRB, IHRC, IDFPR and IDOL.  While Josh has tried and litigated injury cases for more than 20 years, he also has more than a decade of experience as litigation and outside general counsel to national and regional companies.  With an intimate knowledge of how corporations operate, Josh is adept at grasping the bigger picture in any dispute and guiding his clients through lawsuits by utilizing a keen understanding of business practices and personal motivations to achieve targeted results.  In 2024, Josh made the decision to devote his entire practice to bettering the lives of injury victims and their families with a mission to make the world better one day and one client at a time!    

Josh is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Kane County Bar Association, DuPage County Bar Association, American Association for Justice, National Trial Lawyers Association and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.  Josh serves as Chairman of the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and President of the Kane County Bar Association.  Josh is active in CASA Kane County and youth sports in the Tri-Cities.  Josh has been recognized as an Emerging Lawyer and Leading Lawyer by the Leading Lawyer Network annually since 2017, Super Lawyer annually since 2022, National Trial Lawyer’s Top 100 Civil Plaintiff’s Lawyer since 2024, Law Leader, Top Attorney in Illinois by the Chicago Magazine, Top Suburban Business Lawyer by the Daily Herald and one of the Ten Best Attorneys for Client Satisfaction by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys.  In 2015, Josh was also honored as one of Kane County’s “Best Under 40” by the Kane County Chronicle. 

Having grown up in central Illinois in a family that claims seven generations that have called Illinois home, Josh prides himself on his family and his work ethic.  He graduated Western Illinois University with a B.A. in History along with an admission into the Phi Alpha Theta National Honorary Society and later graduated cum laude from the University of Illinois at Chicago John Marshall Law School.  After working for a Chicago law firm, Josh became a partner and lead business litigation counsel at Griffin Williams in Geneva where he helped grow the firm to a regional power with national reach.  It is now his honor to join his wife, Katie, in establishing Feagans Law Group as a premier, boutique law firm serving Illinois injury victims and their families.

When Josh is not Guiding Your Path to Justice, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, coaching youth sports, watching reruns of Seinfeld and the occasional cocktail!
